Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Other miscellaneous animal farming. Outdoors. Confined spaces. Dusty. Odours. Wet/damp. Livestock. All weather conditions. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Handling animals. Monitor the calving process. Monitoring animal health. Perform animal grooming activities . Perform livestock feeding. Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Perform general farm duties. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
