Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Metal product fabrication industry. Sheet metal shop. Tasks: Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products. Document work completed. Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair. Operate presses or other forging machines to perform hot or cold forging to shape or form metal. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Equipment and machinery experience: Automatic conveyor. Bolters or screwdrivers (power). Lifting device. Punch presses. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Press brakes and metalworking equipment. Metal forming or shaping operations experience: Bending. Cutting machine. Piercing. Straightening. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation.
