About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Service. Tasks: Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems. Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Supervise other workers. Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size. Employment terms options: Early morning. Evening. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Employment terms options: Night. Day.
