About this role
Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry. Tasks: Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders. Prescribe medication and treatment . Act as consultants to other physicians. Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC). Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II). Specialty residency training. Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination. Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
