Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: At heights. Cold/refrigerated. Dusty. Noisy. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Clean and prepare surfaces. Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets. Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists. Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts and electrical outlets. Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools. Prepare wall and ceiling layouts. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Supervision: 3-4 people. Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Employment terms options: Evening. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
