Salary: £19,500 - 35,500 per year
Requirements: We need experience in bespoke software delivery as part of an agile team working for an external customer, ideally in a client-facing consulting environment.We need defence sector experience.We need active DV clearance.We need experience across the software development lifecycle, from analysis through acceptance, launch, and live operations.We need strong workshop facilitation skills and the ability to lead stakeholder groups to clear outcomes.We need experience modelling as-is and to-be business processes and presenting them to stakeholders and teams to build understanding and buy-in.We need strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to challenge decisions when appropriate and adapt communication styles.We need experience breaking down work from inception through delivery and managing a team backlog with quality and maturity.We need experience eliciting functional, technical, and non-functional requirements and translating them into clear user stories.We need the ability to use prioritisation techniques to refine the backlog and manage dependencies.We need proven ability to manage scope to deliver the required MVP and maximise value.We need the ability to work within commercial constraints such as cost restrictions and deadlines.We need excellent user story writing skills with consistency and quality across the project.We need the ability to build trusted relationships inside and outside the delivery team and collaborate on breaking work into deliverable pieces.We need experience working in client/supplier relationships and sensitivity to client needs.We need experience contributing to sales activities such as bids and sales proposals.We need strong Agile experience and the ability to mentor team members and coach clients.We need demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop junior team members and the wider community.We need the ability to explain technical jargon to non-technical and commercial teams.Desirable: we would value the ability to participate in technical discussions with a broad understanding of technical terms.Desirable: we would value experience working closely with clients on site day to day.Desirable: we would value active participation in communities of interest, such as online groups, meetups, and conference speaking. Responsibilities: We are responsible for our teams backlog maturity and for taking ownership of features from inception through delivery.We drive MVP thinking and communicate its value to our team, the wider project team, and relevant stakeholders.We lead our team, run agile ceremonies, and encourage engagement and discussion.We plan and run workshops with a variety of stakeholders to facilitate consensus in areas of uncertainty.We actively participate in the Product capability and support the delivery of initiatives.We manage, coach, and develop a small number of staff, with a focus on employee performance.
