Salary: £60,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements: 8+ years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, solution architecture, partner engineering, or customer-facing security architecture, including experience leading complex, strategic engagements.Deep, hands-on experience using the Qualys platform in large-scale enterprise environments.Proven experience working with partners, MSSPs, alliances, or channel organizations in technical leadership, enablement, or solution development.Demonstrated ownership of a vulnerability or risk program at scale in a large enterprise.Expert-level, hands-on command across multiple domains, including asset management, vulnerability management, patching, policy and compliance, cloud security, application security, and threat detection and response.Ability to architect complex, end-to-end security solutions spanning identification through remediation and recovery, independently and at executive level.Strong command of common security and compliance frameworks and their strategic application.Deep working knowledge of public cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.Executive-level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-level and senior technical audiences.Self-direction, sound judgment, and ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.Experience using AI, automation, scripting, or workflow optimization technologies to improve operational efficiency and customer or partner outcomes.Direct Qualys platform experience is strongly preferred; equivalent senior-level security platform experience is welcomed.Track record supporting large enterprise customers and strategic partners.Experience influencing product direction through strategic customer, partner, and field feedback.Experience architecting or leading managed security services, integrations, or joint solution architectures from concept to delivery.Familiarity with DevSecOps workflows, cloud-native security, and mature security operations practices.Relevant industry certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, CCNP, or public cloud certifications, are preferred. Responsibilities: Own and lead technical strategy for complex pre-sales opportunities and drive technical wins on strategic, high-value deals.Lead executive-level discovery to identify and translate customer security and compliance requirements into end-to-end Qualys and partner-integrated solution architectures.Design and deliver executive architecture workshops, whiteboarding sessions, technical deep dives, and board-level presentations.Architect and direct complex proof-of-concept and proof-of-value engagements, establishing standards for the team.Identify gaps between current and target states and define solution patterns, adoption roadmaps, and long-term architectural strategy.Build and maintain trusted relationships with technical and security decision-makers at customer and partner organizations.Shape proposal strategy by providing technical differentiation and business-value narratives for strategic pursuits.Lead partner technical enablement by designing training curricula, solution guidance, joint architecture frameworks, and operational best practices.Drive development of partner-delivered and managed security service offerings as their senior technical architect.Serve as the primary technical liaison among customers, partners, Product Management, and Engineering; resolve complex technical challenges and influence roadmap priorities.Create technical enablement content, including solution guides, white papers, blogs, and workshops, for internal and partner audiences.Identify systemic technical challenges and lead development of scalable enablement assets, automation frameworks, and organization-wide best practices.Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Solutions Architects and Technical Account Managers.
