Salary: £35,000 - 35,000 per year
Requirements: Experience within Application Support or Software SupportStrong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience investigating complex application issues through to resolutionWriting ad-hoc and complex multi-table SQL queriesInvestigating and resolving data issuesWorking with database functions, procedures and stored proceduresExperience working within web and PC-based environmentsFamiliarity with issue management tools such as JiraExposure to version control tools such as Bitbucket or similarExperience with a scripting language, ideally PowerShellPrevious experience mentoring, coaching or supporting junior colleaguesStrong communication and technical documentation skills Responsibilities: Provide senior-level 2nd/3rd line application supportInvestigate, diagnose and resolve complex technical issuesTake ownership of escalated incidents through to resolutionPerform root-cause analysis and identify underlying application or data issuesUse SQL to investigate databases, troubleshoot problems and correct data issuesWrite and maintain scripts to automate repetitive support tasksWork closely with Service Delivery and Engineering teamsManage and track incidents through an issue management platformIdentify critical issues and escalate where appropriateMentor and support junior Application Support EngineersDocument technical issues, root causes and resolutionsHelp introduce and maintain best practices across the support functionWork within a collaborative Agile engineering environment Technologies: BitBucketSupportJIRAPowerShellSQLWebLESS More:
