Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business system components. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation by promptly addressing and resolving technical challenges. The position demands continuous vigilance and collaboration with different teams to maintain system reliability and performance, contributing to the overall stability of essential business processes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and minimize downtime. - Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future troubleshooting efforts. - Assist in the continuous improvement of monitoring processes and tools to enhance system visibility and responsiveness. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in New Relic. - Experience in monitoring and analyzing application performance using New Relic tools. - Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues across multiple system components. - Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in identifying root causes. - Familiarity with system logs, alerts, and diagnostic data to support issue resolution. - Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in New Relic. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
