*Job Overview* As the business grows we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing excellent support to both patients and healthcare professionals. This position requires strong organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. The current available position is part time and eventually full time by September 2026.
*Duties*
* Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process. * Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers. * Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld. * Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information regarding services. * Assist with billing and insurance verification processes. * Prepare examination rooms by ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies. * Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and care delivery.
*Experience*
* Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred * Familiarity with HEALTHQUEST EMR is a requirement. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with patients and staff. * Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. * Basic knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.
