About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Handling animals. Perform livestock feeding. Fertilize and spray crops. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Perform general farm duties. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Employment terms options: To be determined. Support for newcomers and refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
