Main duties of the job Due to the continued growth of the business we are looking for a Respiratory Nurse Manager to join Care in The Home division, where we are proud to employ Nurses as our Clinical Managers.

This hybrid role has both clinical manager and respiratory specialist responsibilities, with ownership of care packages in a region. The role is responsible for the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care for clients with complex health needs in their home ensuring with regulatory standards and all relevant legislation. The Respiratory Nurse Specialist aspect has the additional responsibility for providing expert clinical management for clients with respiratory needs.

What you'll be working:

Monday - Friday 09.00am - 17.30pm (Flexibility required) Home based - with travel (Oxford, Bedford, Cambridge and Hertfordshire)

What you'll be doing:

Key Aspects of Respiratory Specialist Role will include:

Contribute to the development of the respiratory service offered by Care in the Home Have oversight of complex respiratory packages, delivering an overarching review to support the client, support team and care and clinical manager colleagues Ensure respiratory support plans and associated documentation are personalised, evidence based and adjusted according to need, meeting with CQC requirements Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration alongside the Clinical Manager Participate in audits, service evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives Working alongside the Clinical Training and Development Team, provide education and support to Clinical and Care Manager colleagues, Act as a clinical resource within the Clinical and Care Manager Team and advise on escalation to manage respiratory incidents Assessment of complex respiratory client packages and oversight of onboarding respiratory packages of care, working alongside clinical and care manager teams

What you'll have:

A legal right to work in the U.K. Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent healthcare professional with current NMC registration – essential. Significant post-registration experience in respiratory care, ideally in the community setting or care at home setting Evidence of continued professional development (CPD) in respiratory nursing Deep understanding of complex care services and clinical needs, including ventilators, tracheostomies, and PEG feeding and strong knowledge of respiratory treatment pathways Advanced clinical assessment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and patient education skills Ability to work autonomously and manage caseloads independently Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, UK healthcare standards, and clinical best practices. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change. Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual and able to provide direction to all colleagues in the team. Self-confident and the ability to manage challenging situations and conversations. Analytical and problem-solving skills to address clinical challenges and drive improvement. Strong organisational, time management and planning skills, with a commitment to self-management and continuous personal development. Experience in a clinical leadership role, preferably within complex care, domiciliary care, or community healthcare settings. Proven track record of driving clinical excellence and achieving outstanding regulatory outcomes (e.g., CQC ratings).

Qualifications Essential
