Job Description Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (2nd Shift) Avery Dennison provides innovative and high-quality solutions for printing and labeling operations, supported by expert assistance and cost-saving measures. At our Miamisburg, Ohio location, our teams produce a wide range of stock and custom labels, tickets, tags, printers, and related products for leading organizations in logistics, food, and retail sectors. The Team Members We're Looking For... In this role, you will develop skills in warehouse operations related to both production and vendor products. This includes: Working the main receiving dock and managing the final disposition of products. Receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials. Distribution of finished goods. Daily responsibilities will include: Receiving, identifying, and verifying incoming materials from production and/or outside vendors, and storing them in appropriate locations according to specifications and department guidelines. Distributing and/or storing items per department guidelines and specifications. Accurately processing and maintaining all related documentation, both via PC and handwritten. Utilizing appropriate material handling equipment to load and/or unload truckload carriers as per specifications. Preparing orders for shipment according to instructions and specifications, including pallet labeling, consolidation, or stretch wrapping. Maintaining inventory as per department guidelines. Responding to all inter-company requests for materials and material counts, serving as a resource for team members and others in resolving related issues and problems. As a member of a production support team, training, assisting, and supporting other team members in problem-solving and achieving department goals. Continuously reviewing current processes and seeking improvement methods to enhance product/process quality, reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary work that does not add value. Performing general housekeeping tasks and waste removal within the department/group and assisting other areas as required. Assisting and supporting in other job functions within the process or other company processes within scope and ability, based on business needs. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership, including assisting at different workstations, maintaining 5S/housekeeping standards, and supporting overall plant safety and production goals.
