The Role Domestic Care Assistant - working from 12 hours per week from 10am to 4pm on a Saturday and a Sunday on a weekly basis As a Domestic Care Assistant, youll play a vital role in supporting residents to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity
Main duties of the job As a Domestic Care Assistant at Bosworth Care Home in Weymouth, you will work 12 hours per week during weekends only. Joining our team means truly making a difference in the lives of our residents. We seek compassionate and reliable individuals who are ready to work in a supportive and rewarding environment. No previous care experience is required, as full training is provided. Your main responsibilities include communal cleaning, dusting, polishing, vacuuming residents bedrooms, and providing companionship. You will work closely with the home management team to meet hygiene standards and support other team members through shadowing and teamwork. If you have at least 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK, youll have access to training opportunities, pension schemes, and a supportive working environment. The Role Domestic Care Assistant - working from 12 hours per week from 10am to 4pm on a Saturday and a Sunday on a weekly basis
As a Domestic Care Assistant, youll play a vital role in supporting residents to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. No two days are the same, but your responsibilities will include:
Communal cleaning ensure the communal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and employees
Domestic tasks - dust, polish and vacuum residents bedrooms thoroughly and ensuring use of appropriate warning signs when required
Collaboration - work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Companionship - Provide support, communication and engagement to residents.
Team support - helping new or existing colleagues through shadowing and teamwork, and supporting the smooth running of the home when required
What Were Looking For
A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK, please note: Under new guidance we are unable to accept skilled or student visas
Caring, positive, and reliable individuals
Previous care experience is not essential, as fully funded training is provided
