This is an exciting opportunity within the NENC Integrated Care Board for a Permanent, Band 3, Receptionist at Pemberton House.

Main duties of the job
Providing confidential reception and business support including greeting all visitors in a polite and professional manner by telephone or in person.
Act as the first point of contact for all NENC ICB wide telephone enquiries or voicemails; responding to callers using prepared up to date information and following prepared Standard Office Practice (SOP) scripts; but also, to use initiative and judgement to resolve issues.

The ICB is responsible for ensuring that high quality and safe health services are accessible to all of our communities. It has a wide range of functions, including; promoting integration of health and care services, improving peoples health and well-being, reducing health inequalities.
With a £6.6 billion budget and a workforce of 170,000 people across the North East and North Cumbria. As well as strategic functions, ICB staff also work at place level with local health and wellbeing boards in each of our 14 local authority areas. These teams also work alongside our 67 primary care networks which are groups of local GP practices, social care teams and other community- based area providers.
The ICB works with our Provider Collaborative too, this includes the 11 NHS Foundation Trusts in the region, to deliver our shared priorities.

Acting as an integrated member of the business support team, demonstrating a flexible approach, ensuring the business needs of the service are met.
Ensuring the visitor register is updated and all visitors receive a visitor badge and are directed to their meetings in an efficient, polite and timely manner.
Providing general advice of a non-clinical nature to patients, public, clients and other NHS staff.
Support other colleagues across the organisation with business support tasks as and when required such as, room booking, information sharing, emailing, photocopying, filing or tasks in line with role responsibilities.
Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
A good standard of secondary education to GCSE level or equivalent incl. mathematics and English
Desirable
NVQ level 3 Business Administration qualification qualification/ equivalent or receptionist /business support experience. ECDL
