Main duties of the job This role is for a Support Worker at Enable, located in Trowbridge. The position is permanent and offers a salary of £13.20 per hour. Applicants for this post must be female, due to a Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010, as the role involves providing personal care to women. The job requires an enthusiastic individual with great people skills and a proactive approach, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, and complex needs. Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
Communicating- effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods
Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life
Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches
Recording- keeping accurate records & reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
