Main duties of the job
What you'll do:
Lead professional psychological practice and uphold the highest standards of quality across Rehabilitation, Forensic, and Secure Health services.
Inspire, support, and manage senior psychological practitioners--acting as a motivator and expert resource within the care group.
Collaborate with the Care Group Leadership Team and Director for Psychological Professions (CPPO), bringing a trauma-responsive, compassionate, and collaborative approach to leadership.
Drive strategic planning, clinical and professional governance, and shape a clear identity and vision for psychological services.
Coordinate supervision, training placements, recruitment, professional self-regulation and continuing professional development for psychological staff.
Deliver focused clinical input as part of your job plan, attached to a psychological service within ReFreSH Care Group.
Deputise for the Director for Psychological Professions (Chief Psychological Professions Officer) when required.
