Main duties of the job The job requires you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals, delivering positive person-centered outcomes for people with complex support needs. You will support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health, and complex needs, working in 2 supported living services on Cranford Avenue supporting 8 individuals with autism and complex needs to live independently within the local community. The role involves encouraging and enabling people to live independently, supporting activities of daily life, effective communication, promoting quality of life, supporting positive behavioral approaches, and maintaining accurate records. The package includes a salary of £13.20 per hour, a refer-a-friend scheme with potential earnings of up to £500, and various career development opportunities.

Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
Communicating- effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods
Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life
Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches
Recording - keeping accurate records & reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
