About this role

Job summary Contribute to updating records of achievements (ie: profiles, observations, care plans), to support the individual needs of the children/families.

Assist the management team ( ie: Deputy and Early Years Professional) to develop, implement and evaluate play and planning using the EYFS for the individual child and family

To support the nursery team and management team in the delivery of the service and the development of quality care

As a key carer the jobholder will assist in the settling in programme to meet the childs/familys individual needs including first contact with the parent or carer

What you will bring to the role What We’re Looking For

- Ofstedrecognised Level 3 childcare qualification

- Ability to create a warm, caring, inclusive environment

- Strong understanding of child development (0–5 years)

- Knowledge of Ofsted welfare requirements

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

A recognised OfSTED approved qualification, minimum of Level 3

Experience Essential

To deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage across the setting to raise and maintain the excellence of the Early Years Provision through quality interaction with the children.
