Band 6 Anaesthetic Practitioner - SeniorRoyal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust
Ready to take your next career step? We're looking for confident, experienced Band 6 Anaesthetic Practitioners to join our dynamic theatre teams at Royal Surrey -- to include working in our brand-new, state-of-the-art operating theatres known as the Cancer and Surgical Innovation Centre (CASIC).
This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical expertise with leadership, working at the forefront of surgical innovation while supporting and guiding teams across a wide range of perioperative settings. We are looking for highly flexible practitioners who thrive in a dynamic environment and are confident working across multiple departments while supporting service delivery and staff development.
Main duties of the job

You'll be a visible leader on the ground, driving high standards and supporting the anaesthetic practitioners' team to deliver exceptional care.

You'll work across all areas requiring anaesthetic support.

Qualifications Essential
Registered Operating Department Practitioner - with current UK HCPC Registration Registered Nurse - with current UK NMC Registration PLUS Anaesthetic Nurse Professional Qualification
Desirable
Practice Assessor or equivalent mentorship qualification Management Course
Knowledge and Experience Essential
Demonstrable knowledge of perioperative practice including up to date knowledge of AAGBI, NICE, and DAS guidelines. Demonstrable knowledge of normal and altered anatomy and physiology including commonly encountered pre-existing patient conditions. Possess underpinning knowledge of pharmacology in perioperative care. CPD - evidence of post qualification experience and continuing professional development
