Requirements: Strong background delivering ERP implementation or integration projects.Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or similarly complex operational environments.Proven ability to manage multiple technology projects simultaneously.Experience integrating ERP platforms with CRM, finance, or operational applications.Strong stakeholder and third-party supplier management skills.Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable working independently.SYSPRO experience is highly desirable; experience with other ERP platforms will also be considered. Responsibilities: Manage multiple concurrent ERP and systems integration projects from planning through delivery.Work with stakeholders across IT, Finance, Sales, and Operations.Manage third-party suppliers, challenge delivery timelines, and ensure accountability.Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce duplication, and increase operational efficiency.Develop practical project plans, manage risks, and resolve delivery challenges.Provide clear progress updates and recommendations.Take ownership of project outcomes.Lead the selection and implementation of a CRM and Quote Management System, integrating it with ERP.Oversee integration of an AI-powered solution to automate customer order processing and reduce manual input.Assess and deliver opportunities to automate accounts payable matching and integrate with ERP.Lead implementation of Team Leaf, consolidating existing applications and integrating field operations with SYSPRO financials. We are supporting an established manufacturing group operating across multiple companies, with ERP at the centre of its technology landscape. The group is investing in technology and operational efficiency, and we are seeking an experienced interim Senior Project Manager to lead business-critical ERP integration and technology transformation projects. This is a hands-on delivery role based in Derby, with an initial six-month contract, three to four days onsite per week, a day rate of £500–£550, and an Outside IR35 status. The role offers an opportunity to make an immediate impact by driving projects through to completion and delivering measurable improvements.
