Requirements: Extensive IFS architecture experience in an international businessStrong hands-on experience with IFS Cloud, particularly across Finance, Projects and associated operational modulesProven experience delivering complex, multi-country ERP implementations through multiple rollout wavesDeep understanding of Finance architecture, including financial controls, project accounting, intercompany, costing and statutory requirementsExperience integrating Finance with Enterprise Asset Management, work orders, maintenance and service operationsPrevious ownership of global templates, design governance and architectural decision-makingExperience with legacy finance migrations, data reconciliation and cutover planningStrong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge systems integrators, senior stakeholders and local business teamsRight to work in the UK and willingness to travel internationally Responsibilities: Own our global IFS Cloud solution architecture and ensure consistency across all three deployment wavesLead design authority, review change requests and determine where local requirements justify changes to the global templateOwn the Finance solution design, including chart of accounts, company structures, intercompany, project accounting, fixed assets, work order costing and financial closeOversee integration between Finance, Projects, Enterprise Asset Management, and Service & Maintenance, ensuring operational activity flows accurately into financial reporting and billingLead the architecture for legacy finance system decommissioning, including data migration, opening balances, reconciliation and cutoverManage statutory and fiscal localisation requirements across Europe and the Americas, including tax, electronic invoicing and reportingChallenge programme plans, design decisions and deployment sequencing to minimise risk and avoid unnecessary reworkProvide architectural oversight through SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live and hypercare Technologies: ArchitectCloudERP More:
We are seeking a Global Solution Architect for a global energy brands major international IFS Cloud transformation programme. The business is halfway through its global rollout, and the role will take ownership of the global solution across multiple countries, business functions and deployment phases. This is a remote contract role requiring international travel. The contract rate is stated as £1000–£12000 per day, outside IR35.
