Female Domestic Abuse Support Worker
Location: Brecon Hours: 35 hours per week Salary: £13.46 per hour Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
We are looking for a compassionate and resilient Support Worker to provide trauma-informed support to female survivors of domestic abuse across accommodation and community-based services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide emotional and practical support to victims of domestic abuseComplete risk and needs assessments and develop support plansSupport clients to access housing, benefits, healthcare and other servicesManage a caseload and provide community outreach supportDeliver recovery-focused interventions and programmesWork with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomesMaintain accurate records and safeguarding responsibilities Essential Requirements
Experience supporting vulnerable adults or familiesUnderstanding of domestic abuse and safeguardingStrong communication, advocacy and organisational skillsAbility to manage a varied workload independently and as part of a teamGood IT skillsFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Desirable
