Your new role
As Senior Finance Officer, you will support the delivery of high-quality financial management and reporting across the organisation.
Working closely with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, you will take responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of financial information, supporting budget holders and maintaining strong financial controls.
You will assist with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting activities, monitor expenditure against budgets, oversee reconciliations and support month-end and year-end processes.
The role will also involve maintaining financial records, supporting procurement and contract administration, assisting with payroll-related finance activities and providing advice and guidance to colleagues on financial matters.
In addition, you will contribute to identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and reporting capabilities.
What you'll need to succeed You will be an organised and proactive finance professional with previous experience in a finance officer, assistant accountant, management accounts or similar accounting role.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN AN EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENT. Sage is desirable
