We’re recruiting for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a professional, established organisation in Bromley.
This is a great opportunity for someone who sits between business analysis, data analysis and IT: someone who can understand a business problem, dig into the systems and data behind it, and help deliver practical technology solutions.
You’ll work closely with the Head of IT, internal teams and external suppliers, taking projects from requirements through to testing, implementation and improvement.
You’ll be involved in: Gathering and translating business and technical requirementsAnalysing processes and identifying opportunities to simplify or automate themUsing data and systems insight to support decision-makingWorking across applications, databases, APIs and integrationsCoordinating system enhancements, testing and UATManaging change requests and supporting project deliveryWorking with suppliers and technical teams to resolve issuesSupporting information security, governance and ISO 27001 activityHelping shape the wider IT and digital roadmap We’re looking for someone with: Strong Business Analysis experienceGood data analysis skillsExperience working on software, systems or application projectsA solid understanding of the software development lifecycleConfidence reading and interpreting code and technical documentationKnowledge of databases, APIs and integrationsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsA practical, curious and solutions-focused approach Experience with SQL, Power BI, Git/GitHub, automation or AI-assisted development tools would be a real advantage.
You don’t need to be a software developer — but you do need to be technically confident and genuinely interested in how systems work.
