Overview
A well-established and highly respected business within the property sector is on the lookout for a NEW Part-Time Management Accountant in Tunbridge Wells. The business has built an excellent reputation locally and offers a friendly and professional working environment where your contribution will be genuinely valued.
This position will see you acting as the key point of contact for the company's finances before year-end review by external accountants, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and delivering meaningful financial insights to support business decision-making.
This role is office based, working 3 days per week (10:00am - 5:00pm).
Salary is circa £37,000 pro-rata plus excellent benefits. Higher salaries may be discussed.
Duties
Prepare and post month-end adjustments including accruals and prepaymentsManage payroll journals and reconcile PAYE accountsOversee preparation and submission of group VAT returnsAllocate and split invoices across group entities where applicablePerform intercompany reconciliationsCalculate and apply fuel scale charges in line with HMRC guidelinesProcess and manage partner drawingsCompile and provide year-end financial information to external accountantsDeliver monthly profit and loss reports with commentaryPost letting income recorded via external software into the accounting system What we're looking for
A successful candidate for this role will have experience with similar responsibilities, be confident at using the software Sage and live within a reasonable commute of Tunbridge Wells.
