SEN Teacher - KS1 Hub
Start Date: 6th November 2026Duration: Until Christmas initially, with potential extensionHours: Full-TimeDaily Rate: Competitive, dependent on experienceLocation: London RSR Education is seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teacher for a welcoming primary school's KS1 Hub. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, tailored learning experiences within a dedicated specialist provision supporting 8 pupils with additional needs.
Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and learning needs.Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.Work collaboratively with the Hub's dedicated support staff and wider school team.Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.Maintain high expectations whilst understanding the individual challenges faced by pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Required Skills & Qualifications:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).Demonstrates strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.Is patient, adaptable, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for children with additional needs.Has experience teaching children with SEND.Experience working within a specialist provision, nurture setting, or SEN Hub is desirable.
