Finance Director
Location: Warwickshire Salary: £100,000 - £107,000 + Benefits
A highly regarded and established organisation is seeking an accomplished Finance Director to join its senior leadership team. This pivotal appointment offers the opportunity to influence organisational strategy, lead financial operations and provide oversight across reporting, governance, risk management and commercial performance.
Working closely with the Executive Team and Board, the successful candidate will help safeguard the organisation's financial strength while supporting future growth, investment and long-term objectives. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen and the ability to provide trusted advice at a senior level.
Strategic Leadership
Lead the development and delivery of the organisation's financial strategy, ensuring resources support both immediate priorities and long-term goals.Contribute as a key member of the senior leadership team, shaping strategic direction and organisational success.Provide high-quality financial and commercial insight to support Board and Executive decision-making.Evaluate opportunities through financial modelling, investment appraisal and scenario planning.Champion financial accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence. Oversee the production of accurate, timely and meaningful financial reporting.Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes.Deliver insightful management information to support strategic and operational decisions.Monitor performance against objectives, identifying risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.Present complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders and Board members. Provide leadership across financial governance, risk management and compliance.Ensure robust financial controls, policies and procedures are maintained.Lead external audit activity and manage relationships with auditors, banking partners and advisers.Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements.Advise on financial sustainability, risk exposure and organisational resilience. Lead a high-performing finance function, ensuring effective service delivery.Oversee treasury management, cashflow forecasting, liquidity planning and capital investment activities.Drive improvements to financial systems, controls and reporting processes.Ensure effective management of working capital and financial resources.Develop and inspire the finance team, promoting accountability and professional growth. About You
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).Proven experience at Finance Director, Deputy Finance Director or a comparable senior finance leadership level.Strong technical accounting expertise combined with commercial awareness.Demonstrable experience of governance, compliance and risk management within a complex organisation.Able to influence senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making.Track record of driving organisational improvement through robust financial leadership.
