We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join the Metropolitan Police Service. This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex technology procurement and sourcing activities, work closely with senior stakeholders, and support the delivery of strategic digital, cloud and AI-related programmes within one of the UK's largest public sector organisations.

Lead complex end-to-end technology procurement and sourcing activitiesDevelop sourcing strategies and route-to-market approachesManage tender processes, supplier evaluations and contract awardsNegotiate commercial and contractual terms with suppliersProvide procurement and commercial advice to senior stakeholdersDeliver compliant procurements in line with public sector regulationsManage supplier engagement and commercial governance activitiesDrive value for money, savings and wider commercial benefitsSupport strategic technology, cloud and digital procurement programmes Required Experience:
Proven end-to-end procurement delivery experienceStrong technology sourcing background, including software, cloud, digital and IT servicesExperience leading procurement activities from market engagement through to contract awardStrong knowledge of public sector procurement regulations, including the Procurement Act 2023Experience using a range of procurement frameworks and routes to market, not solely G-CloudExcellent supplier negotiation and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrable experience delivering commercial value, savings and risk mitigationAbility to manage multiple procurements within a fast-paced environment Highly Desirable:
Experience within Policing, Central Government, Defence or other regulated public sector environmentsExperience using CCS and other public sector frameworksCIPS, IACCM or equivalent commercial qualificationsExperience supporting technology transformation or AI-focused programmes HOW TO APPLY?
