ROLE
We are currently looking for a Class 4 curtain-sider truck driver (Dayshift), with good knowledge of the Auckland region, and Metro experience.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for the timely pickup and delivery of LCL freight across Auckland, ensuring all goods are handled with care and delivered damage-free. Safety, compliance, and professionalism are key in this role.
What You’ll Be Doing
Delivering and collecting freight efficiently across AucklandEnsuring loads are correctly secured and compliant with NZTA regulationsCompleting daily pre-start and post-trip vehicle checksMaintaining your truck in clean, roadworthy conditionAccurately completing delivery paperwork and using driver apps (e.g. Allotrac)Reporting any damages, faults, or issues promptlyWorking closely with dispatch and supporting the wider team when needed Minimum 3+ years’ experience driving heavy rigid vehicles (18,000kg+)Previous experience driving curtain sider - EssentialFull Class 4 licence (current)Dangerous Goods endorsementSolid knowledge of the NZ Road Code and Heavy Vehicle Loading CodeExperience with LCL freight (preferred)Good knowledge of Auckland metro routesStrong time management and communication skillsComfortable using mobile apps and completing digital paperworkA safety-first mindset with high attention to detail Why Mondiale VGL?
