About this role
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Cartage Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Cartage Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the timely, accurate and efficient delivery of all transport deliveries to our customers. This role requires strong communication skills to develop relationships with our carriers and customers, ensuring to deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Answering emails or phone calls in a timely and professional mannerUsing in-house system (OneTrack) and other systems to complete jobHandling a portfolio of clients and providing outstanding Customer ServiceOrganise and follow all inbound/outbound shipments to ensure goods are promptly deliveredScheduling in line with Mondiale VGL Fleet requirementsMonitor and follow up empty container statusEnsuring all accounts are updated with correct contact and delivery details.Resolve issues and communicate any delays to the relevant departments/customersHandling and monitoring DAWR containersMaintain awareness of customs compliance updatesWorking with the team to ensure smooth processesActively identifying opportunities to reduce transport costs and improve marginsEnsuring a high standard of customer service is always provided 3+ years previous experience in a similar role within the logistics industry. Will consider someone with a strong customer service background (3+ years)Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlinesExceptional time management and the ability to prioritise in a high-paced settingConfident and professional communicator with proven customer service skillsProactive and solutions-focused, with strong troubleshooting capabilitiesPositive attitude and team player with a flexible, can-do mindset Why Mondiale VGL?
