We are currently partnering with a leading housing provider based in Manchester, who are recruiting for a Multi-Trade Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £35,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Carrying out general property repairs, maintenance, and refurbishmentConducting property inspections and ensuring health and safety standards are maintainedIdentifying maintenance issues and completing repairs efficiently and to a high standardMaintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting any issues requiring specialist attentionCommunicating professionally with residents and coordinating external contractors where necessaryWorking sensitively and respectfully within a domestic violence charity environment, maintaining confidentiality and awareness of residents' needs Experience required:
Experience required in Social HousingExperience working with customers within housing Experience dealing with domestic repairs Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Experience carrying out general property repairs and maintenance within residential propertiesBasic skills in plumbing, carpentry, painting and decoratingAbility to identify maintenance issues and undertake effective remedial worksGood understanding of health and safety requirements and safe working practicesStrong customer service skills with the ability to work sensitively and professionally with vulnerable residents Working hours:
