Description
As an Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio and delivering high-quality accounting services. You will work closely with managers and partners while building strong relationships with clients across a range of sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnershipsPreparing management accounts and financial reportsCorporation tax and personal tax compliance workReviewing bookkeeping and VAT returnsActing as a key point of contact for clientsSupporting and mentoring junior team membersAssisting with client meetings and advisory projects
Profile
A successful Accounts Senior:
Has experience working within an accountancy practice environmentIs AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA qualified or studying towards qualificationHas strong accounts preparation experiencePossesses excellent communication and client-facing skillsIs organised, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlinesHas experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
