JOB OVERVIEW
This is an opportunity to contribute to varied outdoor work across highways, utilities and commercial projects.
Working as an Arborist / Vegetation Operative offers a practical mix of vegetation clearance, tree surgery and ground-based activity, with safe working at the heart of each project.
The Arborist / Vegetation Operative will use tools and machinery including chainsaws, chippers and strimmers, supporting climbing and aerial operations where appropriately qualified.
As part of the Polegate team, the Arborist / Vegetation Operative will work independently and collaboratively to help deliver reliable, high-quality work.
DUTIES
Your duties as the Arborist / Vegetation Operative include:
Tree Surgery and Vegetation Clearance: Carry out tree surgery, vegetation clearance and ground-based worksSafe Working Practices: Follow site requirements and support safe working practicesTools and Machinery: Operate chainsaws, chippers, strimmers and other relevant equipmentClimbing and Aerial Support: Assist with climbing and aerial operations where appropriately qualifiedInfrastructure Support: Contribute to works across highways, utilities and commercial projects
