The Role
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Migration Specialist to join the business on a fixed-term contract and play a key role in an important payroll transformation project.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will support the migration of multiple monthly payrolls from an existing payroll platform onto Sage 50 Payroll, ensuring data is accurately cleansed, reconciled and transferred.
This is a hands-on role that will combine payroll expertise, data migration and stakeholder support. The position is hybrid, with occasional travel to other UK locations where required.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver payroll migrations across multiple business locationsCleanse, reconcile and validate payroll data ahead of migrationConfigure new payrolls within Sage 50 Payroll, including pay elements and associated dataEnsure migrated payroll information is accurate and ready for processingProvide training and support to employees throughout the migration processReview existing payroll processes and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiencyResolve payroll and migration queries while ensuring project deadlines are achievedMaintain compliance with relevant UK payroll legislation and best practice About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
At least 3 years' experience working with end-to-end payroll, ideally within a high-volume environmentStrong practical experience using Sage 50 PayrollPrevious experience of payroll implementation and/or payroll data migrationA strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, including Auto Enrolment and RTIGood knowledge of gross payroll, including overtime, holiday pay, wage records and time & attendance dataStrong reconciliation and data validation skillsIntermediate Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe confidence to train and support colleagues through systems and process changesA self-motivated and resilient approach, with the ability to manage your own workload and work to project deadlines Why Apply?
