The Opportunity
An established and growing accountancy practice in Braintree is seeking an ambitious Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join its friendly and professional team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accountancy practice experience who is looking to further develop their technical skills while working with a varied portfolio of clients. Key Responsibilities
Assisting with audit assignments from planning through to completionPreparing year-end statutory accounts for a range of SME and owner-managed business clientsCompleting bookkeeping and VAT return workAssisting with the preparation of corporation tax computationsLiaising directly with clients and responding to queriesWorking closely with managers and seniors to deliver assignments efficientlyMaintaining accurate working papers and ensuring compliance with relevant standardsSupporting and contributing to a collaborative team environment About You
Previous experience working within an accountancy practiceExposure to both accounts preparation and audit assignmentsAAT qualified or currently studying ACA or ACCAStrong communication and organisational skillsGood working knowledge of Excel and cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooksMotivated to learn and progress within a growing practice What's on Offer?
