We build highly efficient and accurate tax and payment processing software and seek a Junior .NET Developer to join our growing IT Staff. The position entails supporting, developing, maintaining and enhancing Agile Payroll System’s windows, web, web services, and mobile based business software applications, components and database objects using Microsoft .NET technologies. If you’re highly motivated to develop your skills and knowledge as part of an IT staff striving to produce superior systems, this job is for you. The outstanding candidate must have a solid track record solving technical problems and exceptional communication skills.
Develop software programs and components using VB.Net, C#, ASP.NET, SQL, XML, HTML, and JavaScriptDebug, test, and troubleshoot software programs and componentsCollaborate with Operations Staff, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance and Senior Developers to help design new features and resolve problems.Utilize.NET methodology to deliver timely and high quality products that exceeds the end user’s expectationsLearn and research new programming languages, technology, and patterns.Follow Agile Payroll Systems’ best practices
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field2+ years of experience with full software development life cycle or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experienceExperience working with Visual Studio, VB.NET / C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, SQLExperience working with Team Foundation Server, SourceSafe or similar source control programsStrong technical skills including solid understanding of software development methodologiesAble to cooperate and participate in team projects while working independently on assigned tasks.Have solid understanding of object oriented programming conceptsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products; Microsoft Certifications a plusExperience utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services Proven analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to meet scheduled task requirements within assigned deadlinesExcellent organizational and communication skillsMobile development experience preferredPayroll, Accounting, and/or ACH knowledge a plus
