Security Service Technician Location: Tennessee (Travel Required Throughout TN)Position Overview We are seeking a Security Service Technician to join a growing team responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting electronic security systems for commercial customers throughout Tennessee. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with strong technical expertise in access control, CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related security technologies.The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality service, responding to customer support requests, performing system maintenance, and supporting small project installations and upgrades. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while collaborating with a team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities
• Respond to service calls and troubleshoot electronic security system issues. • Perform maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades for existing customers. • Program, configure, and support access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems. • Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. • Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and service delivery. • Complete service documentation accurately and thoroughly. • Manage multiple service requests while prioritizing workload effectively. • Travel regularly to customer sites throughout Tennessee, with occasional overnight travel as needed. • Ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards. Required Qualifications
• 3-7 years of experience servicing, programming, integrating, or troubleshooting electronic security systems. • Trade school education or equivalent hands-on industry experience. • Strong technical knowledge of: • Access Control Systems • CCTV/Video Surveillance Systems • Intrusion Detection Systems
• Advanced troubleshooting and system programming experience. • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. • Experience using hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, wire strippers, crimpers, and related equipment. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Valid driver's license and clean driving record. • Ability to travel throughout Tennessee on a regular basis. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
