About this role
This is a 4 month contract SEO Manager role supports the growth marketing team by taking on additional workload related to search and app store optimization for a fast-moving, high-growth technology company. The position focuses on driving organic visibility and performance for an e-commerce product, working fully remotely and collaborating closely across teams in a start-up environment.Responsibilities
• Support the growth marketing team by managing incremental SEO and AEO workload and ensuring key initiatives are executed on time. • Develop, implement, and refine search engine optimization strategies that increase organic traffic and visibility for e-commerce properties. • Manage app store optimization (AEO) efforts to improve discoverability and rankings within relevant app marketplaces. • Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO and AEO performance, using data and AI-driven tools to identify opportunities and optimize campaigns. • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and other stakeholders to align SEO and AEO efforts with broader growth and brand objectives. • Continuously research industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO and AEO, and apply these insights to ongoing optimization work. • Use AI tools as a regular part of daily work to streamline analysis, content optimization, and performance reporting. • Contribute to a start-up style environment by proactively identifying issues, proposing solutions, and taking ownership of projects from concept through execution. Essential Skills
• Hands-on experience in search engine optimization for digital or e-commerce businesses. • Experience in app store optimization (AEO management), including strategies to improve app visibility and rankings. • Comfort and familiarity with using AI tools every day, naturally integrating AI into workflows and decision-making. • Ability to work cross-collaboratively in a start-up environment, partnering effectively with growth marketing and other teams. • Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable optimization strategies. • Clear communication skills to share findings, recommendations, and results with stakeholders in a remote setting. Qualifications
• Experience supporting or working within a growth marketing team. • BG in e-commerce, with understanding of how organic traffic drives revenue and customer acquisition. • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. • Comfort working in a fully remote role, using digital collaboration tools to stay aligned with cross-functional partners. • Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of projects and outcomes. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
