Customer Service Representative Job Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join an onsite Customer Care Center in Daleville, Indiana. This position serves as a first point of contact for customers, providing professional support for a variety of account, transaction, and digital banking inquiries.The ideal candidate has previous call center or high-volume customer service experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems while assisting customers. This is a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment where accuracy, professionalism, and excellent customer service are essential. Responsibilities
• Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls in a fast-paced call center environment. • Assist customers with account inquiries, balances, transactions, transfers, and general account information. • Provide support for online and mobile banking, including password resets and basic troubleshooting. • Research and resolve customer questions, concerns, and account-related issues. • Use active listening and conflict resolution skills to de-escalate challenging customer interactions professionally. • Navigate multiple systems, screens, and applications while assisting customers over the phone. • Accurately document customer interactions and actions taken within internal systems. • Process customer requests and transactions accurately while following established procedures. • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services when applicable. • Meet established call center performance, quality, and customer service expectations. • Participate in ongoing training and coaching related to policies, procedures, and system updates. Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required. • Previous experience handling high-volume inbound calls in a call center or customer service environment. • Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone presence. • Excellent active listening, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. • Ability to professionally de-escalate and resolve customer concerns. • Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple applications and screens simultaneously. • Accurate data entry and documentation skills. • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. • Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. • Comfortable working in a structured, metrics-driven environment. Schedule & Work Environment
• Location: Onsite in Daleville, Indiana • Environment: Professional, fast-paced corporate call center • Operating Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM6:00 PM • Saturday Rotation: 9:00 AM1:00 PM, with alternate time off provided during the week • Training: Approximately 2 weeks, typically 8:00 AM4:30 PM • Schedules after training may vary based on business needs, with many new hires working approximately 9:30 AM6:00 PM • Business casual dress code • Onsite café available • Employees work closely with onsite leadership and team members What We're Looking For Successful candidates will be customer-focused, dependable, technically comfortable, and confident communicating over the phone. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Daleville, IN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
