Main duties of the job The role of Bank Cook at Hazlemere Lodge involves using creativity to prepare comforting meals that enhance residents' days. Responsibilities include meeting dietary needs, organizing themed events, and ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. This permanent position offers an hourly wage of £15.00 and is designed to offer a work-life balance with free evenings and alternate weekends off. Additional benefits include a refer-a-friend bonus up to £1,000, funded training and career development opportunities up to QCF Level 5, Blue Light discounts, and a company pension. Candidates need at least 12 months of UK work eligibility, experience in a professional kitchen, and should be flexible to work on a bank basis, attending as and when required. Knowledge of IDDSI or complex dietary needs is considered advantageous. The goal is to make a significant positive impact on residents' lives through food and care.
