While the initial assignment is expected to last 12 weeks, strong performers may have the opportunity to extend beyond the contract period and potentially be considered for longer-term opportunities within the organization based on business needs and performance. Claims Filing Specialist We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Claims Filing Specialist to support its Global Logistics team during peak season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigative work, data entry, process management, and working in a fast-paced environment.As a Claims Filing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing lost and missing package claims with major parcel carriers including UPS, FedEx, USPS, and Canadian carriers. You will work closely with customer care teams, review case information in Salesforce, file claims, track resolutions, and ensure accurate documentation throughout the claims lifecycle.This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of claims while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities
• Initiate Missing Package Investigations (MPI) based on requests from customer care teams. • Review cases in Salesforce and evaluate supporting documentation. • File lost and missing package claims with carriers including UPS, FedEx, USPS, and Canadian parcel providers. • Enter claim information accurately into Excel spreadsheets and carrier portals. • Track claims from initial filing through final resolution and reimbursement. • Communicate with carriers regarding claim status, missing documentation, and claim outcomes. • Update Salesforce case notes and maintain accurate claim records. • Gather and organize shipment details, tracking information, proof of value, and other supporting documentation. • Provide timely updates to internal stakeholders regarding claim progress. • Ensure all claims are submitted according to carrier guidelines and deadlines. • Assist in identifying trends and process improvements to reduce future package losses. • Handle a high volume of claims processing and data entry during peak operational periods. Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent. • Strong data entry and administrative skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity. • Comfortable performing repetitive and detail-focused work. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in claims processing, claims administration, or claims support. • Experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, fulfillment, or supply chain environments. • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms. • Customer service experience involving issue resolution and follow-up. • Familiarity with parcel carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, or DHL. • Experience tracking documentation, investigations, or reimbursement claims.
