DescriptionPosition OverviewThe Vendor Management team is seeking a contract resource to help stabilize and optimize its recently implemented vendor registration platform, Graphite Connect. The system was implemented by Purchasing in 2025 and is currently creating significant administrative burden due to process inefficiencies, approval bottlenecks, training gaps, and ongoing vendor onboarding challenges.This individual will act as a hybrid of a Project Manager, Business Process Analyst, and Procurement Operations Lead. The primary objective is to manage day-to-day vendor registration activities while driving process improvements, stakeholder adoption, training efforts, and workflow optimization.The role is focused on bringing structure, consistency, and accountability to vendor onboarding operations while reducing the workload currently falling on Vendor Management leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Registration & Operations Manage daily vendor onboarding and registration activities within Graphite Connect. Review, approve, and correct vendor submissions. Support internal business users and external vendors throughout the registration process. Resolve data quality issues, workflow bottlenecks, and approval challenges. Monitor onboarding status and ensure timely completion of vendor requests.Process Improvement Assess current-state workflows and identify process gaps. Partner with Vendor Management, Procurement, and stakeholders to redesign and improve onboarding processes. Develop recommendations for more efficient operating procedures. Create scalable processes and governance standards.Project Management Lead initiatives aimed at improving utilization and adoption of Graphite Connect. Coordinate efforts between Procurement, Vendor Management, IT, and external vendors. Track project milestones, risks, issues, and action items. Drive implementation of workflow and process improvements.Training & Change Management Develop training materials, SOPs, user guides, and process documentation. Conduct end-user training and support sessions. Act as a resource for internal stakeholders navigating the platform. Promote adoption and best practices across the organization.Stakeholder Management Serve as a liaison between business users, procurement leadership, IT, and Graphite Connect. Collaborate with system administrators and technical teams regarding configuration updates and process enhancements. Strong stakeholder communication and relationship management skills.Preferred Experience Graphite Connect experience. Supplier onboarding or supplier management platforms such as: o SAP Aribao Coupao Jaggaero Ivaluao HICXo GEPo TealBook Healthcare, higher education, or regulated industry procurement experience. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
