Location: Bromsgrove, Worcestershire Working pattern: Hybrid/remote Salary: £26,000–£34,000 basic, plus commission Contract: Permanent, employed position
The opportunity Birmingham Mortgage Hub, part of Mortgage Advice Bureau, is looking for an experienced Mortgage & Protection Adviser to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established adviser who enjoys developing strong relationships with estate agency teams and providing customers with high-quality mortgage and protection advice.
You will receive business opportunities from six estate agency branches across Bromsgrove, Redditch and the surrounding areas. The majority of cases are residential purchases, providing a consistent and varied flow of customers requiring mortgage and protection advice.
The position offers predominantly remote working, although you must live within a reasonable distance of Birmingham and Bromsgrove and be available to attend the office or partner branches when required.
Key responsibilities
Providing suitable mortgage and protection advice to new and existing customersManaging residential purchase and remortgage cases from initial enquiry through to completionBuilding productive relationships with estate agency branch teamsResponding promptly to customer referrals and business opportunitiesMaintaining accurate records and meeting all regulatory and compliance requirementsDelivering an excellent customer experience throughout the mortgage journeyIdentifying appropriate protection needs and recommending suitable solutions We are looking for someone who: Is CeMAP qualified, or holds an equivalent recognised qualificationHas previous experience as a Mortgage & Protection AdviserHas a strong understanding of the residential mortgage marketIdeally has experience working alongside estate agents or within an estate agency environmentIs confident building relationships and converting referred leadsCan manage their own workload effectively while working remotelyHas excellent communication, customer service and organisational skillsLives within reasonable travelling distance of Bromsgrove and Birmingham Please note that this vacancy is foran experienced adviser and is not suitable for academy or trainee applicants.
