The opportunity
The Mortgage Cube is looking for an ambitious Mortgage Adviser or Mortgage & Protection Adviser to join its friendly and growing team in Paignton.
Established in 2020, the business has developed a strong client bank and a consistent flow of new enquiries. The successful adviser will benefit from existing clients, inbound enquiries and estate agency referrals, while also having the opportunity to develop their own relationships and generate new business.
This position could suit either a CeMAP-qualified trainee looking to achieve Competent Adviser Status or an experienced adviser seeking their next opportunity.
An employed arrangement is preferred, although self-employed applicants will also be considered. There may also be an opportunity to begin on an employed basis before moving to self-employed terms once a strong pipeline has been established.
Key responsibilities
Providing suitable mortgage advice to new and existing clientsAdvising on appropriate protection products, where qualifiedManaging mortgage applications from initial consultation through to completionFollowing up inbound enquiries and supplied business opportunitiesDeveloping long-term relationships with clients and professional introducersProactively generating new business and growing a personal client bankMaintaining accurate records and meeting all compliance requirementsDelivering excellent service throughout the customer journeyIdentifying opportunities for referrals and repeat business We would like to hear from candidates who: Hold CeMAP or an equivalent recognised mortgage qualificationAre either newly qualified or have previous mortgage advice experienceAre confident communicating with clients and building relationshipsHave a proactive approach to developing new businessCan manage a busy pipeline effectivelyAre organised, motivated and customer-focusedEnjoy working as part of a close-knit office teamHave protection experience or are interested in developing this area Experienced mortgage-only advisers will also be considered.
