Main duties of the job The role of a Care Assistant at Agincare is to make meaningful connections with those in need, offering companionship and care. The primary responsibilities include assisting clients with daily routines, personal care, and maintaining their dignity and joy within their own homes. While no previous experience is required, candidates must possess the right to work in the UK, and a compassionate nature. Agincare provides free comprehensive training and support to its Care Assistants, aiming for outstanding career development, with opportunities to gain professional qualifications up to QCF level 5. The position offers flexibility with contracts that work around the employee, a £500 welcome bonus, and competitive pay up to £13.40 per hour, alongside travel mileage reimbursement. Other benefits include a company pension scheme, the Blue Light care discount package, and on-demand pay. Successful applicants will bring good communication skills, empathy, and a professional team ethos, also requiring at least a 12-month validity on their right to work status, and a full UK driving licence. Alternating weekend work is essential.

Qualifications Essential

No experience needed. Compassionate nature and good interpersonal skills are crucial. Must have a full UK driving licence and the ability to work alternating weekends. Applicants must also have a minimum of 12 months left on their right to work status.
