Main duties of the job As an Activities Coordinator at Agincare, you will play a key role in enhancing the lives of our care home residents through engaging and meaningful activities. You will be responsible for designing, scheduling, and executing a wide range of activities and events. Your day-to-day responsibilities include providing companionship, creating activity plans, and interacting with residents to tailor activities to their interests. You'll also coordinate external communications with entertainers and businesses. The role requires working 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends. Event planning our Activities Coordinators are involved with planning events such as summer BBQs or Christmas parties for our residents. Resident interaction you will always be in conversation with residents to see which activities they want to do and bringing them to fruition. External communications as an Activities Coordinator you will be speaking with external entertainers or businesses to organise visits from entertainers or arranging for visits to businesses for the residents. Mobility - supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility through activities such as Zumba or ballroom or even things like balloon tennis.
