Job summary
We are looking for a confident and experienced Physiotherapist to join our CREST (Cardiac and Respiratory Specialist Team) as a Team Lead.
The role involves delivering cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programmes and respiratory outpatient services, supporting patients to manage long-term cardiac and respiratory conditions. Services are delivered across hospital and community settings in Godalming, including group classes and one-to-one outpatient appointments.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, a specialist cardiac nurse, and an exercise specialist, delivering education and exercise-based rehabilitation to improve patient outcomes.
Main duties of the job
To provide Physiotherapy to relevant patients within CREST including cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, and respiratory outpatients.
Responsible for the Physiotherapeutic clinical care of all patients within the CREST service. Responsible for the management of the CREST team. Responsible for service delivery and development in CREST. To provide specialist treatment and assessment of patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions. Primarily a clinical position but time is allocated for managerial responsibilities.

Qualifications Essential
BSc (hons) Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification HCPC Registration Member of specific interest group Member of CSP or equivalent
Knowledge Essential
Completed all core Junior rotations Extensive experience within cardiac and/or pulmonary rehab within the NHS or equivalent at a Senior Level. Evidence to support knowledge base in specialist area Evidence of post registration education and continuous professional development Experience of supervising staff Experience of training and developing others
Desirable
Evidence to support knowledge of performance monitoring of services Knowledge of clinical governance Experience of rota planning and use of electronic systems for rotas Experience of incident reporting Experience of writing policies and standard operating procedures
