We are Synthesia, a London-headquartered AI video platform for business, founded in 2017 and serving more than 50,000 customers, including over 90% of the Fortune 100. We have offices and teams across Europe and the US, and develop products for visual communication and enterprise skill development. Following our Series E funding round, we have a $4 billion valuation and more than $530 million in total funding. This role is on our Developer Platform team, which builds internal tools and platforms to improve engineering velocity, quality, and developer experience, including developer productivity, insights and SDLC metrics, CI/CD infrastructure, and AI-assisted QA, testing, and development. We value building, direct feedback, and enabling people to do their best work; our AI is developed in-house, and we put people first in our approach to AI safety, ethics, and security. Our preference is for the role to be based in-office or remotely in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, or Ireland; remote work elsewhere in Europe may be possible subject to compliance and right-to-work checks. The starting base salary is EUR/GBP/CHF 130,000 plus equity (RSUs). This is a full-time employee role, usually employed through OysterHR; we do not offer contractor arrangements or relocation. We provide 25 days of leave plus local holidays. Our hiring process includes a recruiter call, an engineering manager conversation, a collaborative product discovery and implementation exercise in Python, a system design discussion, and a leadership conversation; the pace depends on candidate availability.
