Salary: £53,000 - 93,000 per year
Requirements: Extensive IT industry experience, particularly as a solution architect on large-scale transformation projectsExperience with large-scale agile projects and DevOps practices, including CI/CD; knowledge of agile working at scale and frameworks such as SAFe is beneficialProficiency in event-driven and service-based architectures, microservices, and RESTful APIsExperience with Java, Linux, OpenShift, Mainframe Tandem, or Azure CloudFamiliarity with integration and data technologies; experience with JavaScript front-end frameworks such as Angular is advantageousAbility to handle complex systems and problems across functions, locations, and organizationsAbility to conduct architectural analysis and provide pragmatic suggestions with minimal mentorship, and to know when to escalateAbility to work on high-level strategic documents and address technical implementation challengesStrong analytical skills to break down complex problems and provide actionable solutionsPragmatic approach focused on fit-for-purpose resultsAbility to identify the need for change and propose innovative solutions to improve IT delivery processesStrong communication skills to advocate for architectural recommendations to project teams and senior managementAbility to build positive relationshipsKnowledge of post-trade market infrastructures and Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as Open Agile Architecture or TOGAF is a plusFinancial Services industry experience and a good understanding of Asset Servicing processes and related regulatory environments are beneficialProficiency in English is required Responsibilities: Define and implement end-to-end architecture solutions for IT initiatives, ensuring they meet functional, non-functional, and security requirementsWork with requirement owners, domain architects, and IT engineers to develop high-quality solutionsConnect Enterprise Architecture and IT delivery teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and domain target architecturesDevelop reusable solution patterns and building blocks, and contribute to the evolution of Solution Architecture and Software Engineering practicesApply hands-on technology and delivery experience to define domain target architectures and roadmaps focused on the Asset Servicing domainParticipate in communities of practice with other architects to share methodologies and lessons learned Technologies: AngularArchitectAzureCI/CDCloudDevOpsJavaJavaScriptLinuxOpenShiftSecurityTOGAFmicroservices More:
